2025 PCR TAVI Seminar

The PCR TAVI Seminar, held in Cebu, Philippines on November 29–30, 2025, focused on the clinical challenges of TAVI therapy in the Asia–Pacific region. Vice Superintendent Dr. Wei-Hsien Yin of our hospital was invited to serve as PCR Faculty, sharing his extensive teaching and clinical experience with participating experts.
Since 2010, Cheng Hsin General Hospital has been developing a comprehensive TAVI treatment program. Beginning in 2014, Dr. Yin has been invited to multiple countries to perform live case demonstrations and provide team training, continually contributing to the advancement of transcatheter valve therapy across the Asia–Pacific region. In particular, the hospital has accumulated substantial experience in managing bicuspid aortic valve stenosis—common among Asian patients—and its treatment strategies have become important references both in Asia and internationally.
At this year’s PCR TAVI Seminar, the Cheng Hsin cardiac team once again demonstrated Taiwan’s excellence in the TAVI field. Through ongoing international collaboration and professional contributions, the team continues to play a key role in advancing treatment development across many Asian countries.
